Science / Origin / Testing
A dagger is a carved form, not a mineral species. The photographed pieces are sold as obsidian, a volcanic glass; the shape itself does not identify composition or change the material’s geology. There is no scientific evidence that a carving can sever an invisible energetic attachment. Symbolic cord-cutting is a reflective practice, not a measured physical process.
Metaphysical Meaning
In nonviolent metaphysical ritual, a dagger shape can represent releasing an unhealthy attachment, setting a boundary or completing a chapter. A practitioner may place the carving nearby while journaling or visualizing a cord being released, directing intention and energy toward moving forward.
