A general introduction to fluorite, illustrated with our November 2024 bangle collection.
What it is
Fluorite is calcium fluoride, CaF2. It has a Mohs hardness of 4 and is known for a wide range of colors. Its mineral properties make gentle handling appropriate for polished jewelry.
Our collection
The photograph shows our Fluorite bangles. The archive label does not specify a locality or an individual laboratory report for these pieces. Our other Fluorite profiles cover particular localities, associated minerals and tested specimens.
