Mystery Stone 22

A sphere identified as fluorite. Its trade name remains pending, so the tested specimen is listed as Mystery Stone 22.

Sample 1522 · #4 sphere · 6.5 cm maximum dimension · September 24, 2025 · Submitted by Soul Body Gems.

What testing identified

Both analyzed areas were identified as fluorite. The analyst describes this sphere as homogeneous in composition compared with another sphere discussed in the testing series.

Yttrium and associated elements

The report records yttrium between 0.30 and 0.33 wt. %. It also notes smaller amounts of ytterbium, lutetium, thulium and other heavy rare earth elements. The original spectra are included below.

Scope and report date

The results describe the submitted sphere, rather than all fluorite sold under an eventual trade name. The original document gives September 24, 2025 as its completion and signature date, although the uploaded filename contains September 25.

Summary of findings: A very interesting specimen! This one is also fluorite (Figs. 2-4). Compared to the other sphere, this one is homogenous in composition. The major heavy rare earth element is yttrium and runs between 0.30 and 0.33 wt. %. The heavy rare earth elements ytterbium, lutetium, thulium etc. are also present in lesser amounts.
