Phosphosiderite

Phosphosiderite is an iron phosphate mineral known for delicate violet and pink color. These stretch bracelets were offered in our December 2025 collection.
Mineral identity
Phosphosiderite has the formula FePO₄·2H₂O and crystallizes in the monoclinic system. It is a dimorph of strengite: the two share a chemical formula but have different crystal structures. Its mineral name refers to phosphate and iron.
Appearance and formation
It can occur as small crystals or massive material, commonly as a secondary alteration product of other phosphate minerals. The species is documented at several localities worldwide. The name alone does not establish the origin of an individual bead.
The photographed bracelets are identified by their supplied collection name. Their individual composition and any treatments have not been established by a specimen-specific laboratory report on this page.
